ArtisT

emily is a multidisciplinary artist who strives to constantly improve and expand her skills while further exploring and pushing her creative boundaries. She grew up in Edmonton, AB, Canada , moved to and now lives in Yellowknife-NWT (for love) and also lived in Montreal where she had previously attended Syn Studios Art School.

Her first solo show was in 2008 and since then has been a part of many group shows and solo exhibits.

She is an artist, basher of drums, jerk of all trades and new mum.

"I use many different mediums, such as oil, acrylics, ink, digital, glass, metal, wood, discarded objects and furniture, found things in nature, trash, and anything that sparks creativity. I enjoy transforming discarded and broken objects to make them beautiful and useful again which is somewhat a reflection of my own struggles and attempts at personal transformation."
